Deconstructing Glenn Beck Lies

Principle 9

9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.
Who works for whom? ‘I consider the people who constitute a society or a nation as the source of all authority in that nation.’ Thomas Jefferson

Like as in ‘I said I wanted it SUPERSIZED, now GET IT RIGHT’? The US Government is not answerable to YOU, Glenn Beck. It is answerable to ALL OF US. It’s not some kind of BUSINESS that you can patronize and order around.

This principle may work for the filthy rich who can afford the lawyers that you have, Glenn Beck, or the estimated $18 million salary you have, but the plain fact is that the power in this nation truly lies with THE VOTERS. Unfortunately for you, the voters KICKED YOUR ASS in the last election and we now have a Democrat Congress with enough votes to pass any piece of legislation the Democrats can agree upon.

Your side thinks it can show up with 70K people on the mall carrying signs of swastikas, ‘impeach Obama’ (LMAO), threats on the government, and guns, and the rest of us will roll over.

NEWS FLASH FOR TEABAGGERS: It ain’t happening, chumps.

  1. 9. The government works for me—but also you, and him, and her, and those kids, and these senior citizens and those students and those factory workers, and…. In other words, Glenn Beck isn’t the only person the govt works for. It’s a big country.

It is true that we need to be vigilant to defend our rights & democracy, but the leading enemy of democracy in recent years is the influence of money in the form of large corporations, large financial institutions and extremely wealthy individuals who among other things don’t want to pay their fair share for running the various government units of this country. To protest taxes is to protest the way we pay government bills and enable the very rich to dodge paying their fair (progressive) share. To paraphrase Justice Louis Brandeis, we can have democracy or we can have great concentration of wealth, but we can’t have both. This was also the view of Thomas Jefferson, who may have envisioned a nation of independent small farmers.

  2. I wouldn’t LMAO about impeaching Obama. Right now the right-wingers are nit-picking Obama like crazy (like the czar crap and his going to talk to students). Right now there are probably Richard Mellon Scaife hired mudrackers scouring Obama’s past for some minutae to hold against him; EXPECT, if the Republicans regain seats in the 2010 elections, that they will try to impeach him.

  3. The reasoning behind me LMAO about impeaching Obama is related to the teabagger movement and their signs about impeaching Obama.

If you were to try to assemble a list of their arguments, it might look like this…

    1. Obama isn’t a US citizen (debunked, and not grounds for impeachment as it’s not a high crime or misdemeanor to be found after the fact to not be an American citizen. Poor birthers, they can’t buy a break!)
    2. Obama taxed us and gave our money away (forgetting that TARP originated during the Bush Administration, the stimulus was passed by Congress who actually originates all taxes and spending, plus also not impeachable)
    3. Obama is a secret Muslim/terrorist (pure-D batshit crazy)
    4. Obama is a ______________ (fill in the blank with socialist, communist, fascist, Nazi, baby-killer, death-panel-creator, etc. Also completely nutz AND even if any of it was true, not impeachable.)
    5. Hey, I’ll take one of them peaches.

I have no doubt that the smear machine is running in high gear trying to find something to nail Obama. But they had the last election cycle to do so, plus they had the Clinton team on their side, and Bill Ayers was about the worst thing they could come up with, which is such a totally bogus charge that you could start a website just on that.

They might try to go into the campaign donor territory, but this is such a sensitive area for ALL politicians that I can’t imagine them going there. They HATE it when this topic comes up, they try to change the subject as quickly as possible.

Another consideration… if the GOP regains control of Congress in 2010 (which I am beginning to doubt will happen), they have a big hammer hanging over their heads regarding impeachment. That hammer is the prosecution and full release of all information from Bush/Cheney’s lawless joyride into torture, war profiteering, illegal domestic surveillance, and who knows what else. In fact, I think perhaps Obama is delaying any action on this so it can be done right before the 2010 election to poison the GOP candidates.

Maybe not, but we could hope.

Thanks for your comment, it’s well worth contemplating. Please consider emailing content to my site, suggestions for pages, or maybe you’d like your own Glenn Beck page?

  4. In Marxist hypothesis, it is the go-between state between Capitalism and Communism. I have alot of kinfolk in Europe existing under Socialist administrations at present and some of whom were below Communism previously. I work for a European company and work with individuals day-by-day who have existed under said organizations for their whole lives. I know damn well what it is, and I have no desire to live under that form of government. I would rather battle you in the streets then to live as they do.

  5. Before I let you turn this nation into a TeaBagger fascism-fest run by COMPLETE FUCKING IDIOTS like Sarah Palin, I’ll fight you in the streets with my bare hands.

“The Marxist hypothesis”… LOL WTF who do you think you’re fooling with that bullshit? There’s no Marxism here, only a bunch of fucktard racists who can’t believe that a half black man got elected to be President. Why, he must be a black nationalist. Why he wasn’t even born here!

Why, you’re a moron. You and your kind represent about 5% of the population, which is just about exactly the same number of people who suffered from over-exposure to LEAD PAINT when they were kids. That’s the only explanation I can come up to account for the dumbass, hate-filled, paranoid, ignorant, grabbastic, me-first bullshit that spews forth from the TeaBagger group of idiots.

Marxism my ass. You wouldn’t know anything about it, you probably can’t find Europe on a map of Europe.

  6. I hate the fact that all organized religions (including Islam and Christianity) brainwash people into blindly following a particular ideology. Where is the freedom to think? Why can’t the people be free to believe in God in their own personal way, according to the particular experiences of their life? Where is the spirituality if the believers just stick to a belief system without exercising their own judgment? Organized religions are just plain hogwash aimed at establishing political supremacy of one group of people over others. The only thing they promote is to make your thought process subservient to another (prophet, monk, mullah, priest, etc.). No one can find God through organized religion.

  8. Since you can’t defend Principle 9 why did you think you should post anything about it? All you did was make yourself look like a babbling idiot.

You have absolutely no clue whatsoever what Marxism is. None. You are like a demented parrot that repeats the words that are spoken to it by demented people.

Yep. You’re a fucking idiot. And I don’t sell anything. Not a goddam thing. If I did, I’d sell a tee shirt that says “I’m with stupid and has a finger pointing at your head.

You could have one for free.
