8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.
On your right to disagree ‘In a free and republican government, you cannot restrain the voice of the multitude; every man will speak as he thinks, or more properly without thinking.’ George Washington
Nobody ever said it was un-American to disagree with authority or share your opinion. That is, it’s not unless your OPINION IS UN-AMERICAN. It’s UN-AMERICAN to spread known lies in a national debate. It’s UN-AMERICAN to threaten the life of the President or any other government official just because they are ignoring your whims. It’s UN-AMERICAN to tell your supporters that their family has higher authority than the government so you can do whatever you want. It’s UN-AMERICAN to suggest that you can live your life in the US and enjoy the blessings of liberty and the infrastructure and security our government has built and NOT PAY FOR IT.
You’re UN-AMERICAN, Beck. In fact, you ought to be living in a nation that supports your theocratic, autocratic, authoritarian view. How about Iran? You look good in a turban.
