Rush Limbaugh has been making a living in the lying business for years. Beck and Limbaugh are cut from the same cloth; they both demonize liberals, they both keep pushing the GOP to the right, they both lie incessantly, and they both spin up wild conspiracy theories that can’t possibly be true and then they just ignore them when proven false or they don’t happen. It’s show biz, the worst perversion of opinion journalism I’ve ever seen. And I lived during Dr. Carl McIntyre’s and listened to his radio show.

In my opinion, the fix to all of this lying and smearing is to reinstate the Fairness Doctrine. I would like to see a version where anyone who is attacked by some media personality would have the legal right to have equal time to defend themselves at no cost to them. I believe this would be great entertainment and it would keep these gum-flapping bastards honest.

Glenn Beck is a serial liar and your characterizations of what he says as “exaggerations” is bullshit. You cannot possibly be a critical thinker and come to the conclusion that Beck is remotely connected with reality. Which of these things is not like the other? Hitler, Mussolini, Pol Pot, Progressives. Did you get “Progressives”? Probably not if you are a Glenn Beckerhead, which you appear to be.

The left is angry, that’s one thing you picked up on. We’re not just “angry liberals” that can be lumped into a group. Some of us are outraged by the assault on human decency, the Constitution, and the common American citizen presided over by the man you undoubtedly voted for twice. This country is in the midst of a number of crises brought on by decades of center-right and right-wing abuses on the population. If you look outside your window and see people in the street carrying guns, are they going to be liberals or TeaBaggers? Hah! Gotcha! Liberals believe in the processes that have been presented to us, we believe that there needs to be a sea change in our government, but we don’t believe that it’s going to be done through revolution. I have never met any liberal in the last 50 years who has suggested that we need to get into the streets with guns. So where did you pull up that factoid?

For example, you cite NPR as something you listen to because most people of your right-wingnut bias think that it’s “liberal”. NPR hasn’t been liberal since the middle of Clinton’s first term when Newt Gingrich’s Congress threatened to pull the plug on CPB funding unless they turned right. Of course, you wouldn’t know that because you don’t pay attention, so you just keep spewing that you listen to NPR like it’s some kind of ameliorating explanation as to why you’re not a complete righty asshole. FAIL.
