Hi there, thanks for stopping by, I appreciate your readership. You're right that it's just myself and Wexler who man the site (just me now, really), you can find out more on the "about" page if you like.

I appreciate the rational manner in which you raise your concerns and am happy to respond to them. I don't hate Glenn Beck. I hate what he says, and I hate what he represents. I hate the lies that come out of his mouth, but even more so I hate the fact that people buy them word for word. What you're right about is that he likely believes the vast majority of the garbage that spews from him. If he did, he would deserve my hatred, but more than anything he deserves pity, and he deserves what I give - warning. I don't try to incite people to hate Beck, because I do not think that they should. I try to warn people not to TRUST Beck, and to tell people that they need to think for themselves. If displaying hundreds of his lies causes readers to hate him, so be it. It's not something I encourage, but in all honesty it's not something I'm not at peace with either. But my reason for displaying the lies is simply to have people realize that they need to think before they believe. What we need to fear, is fear itself.

All of that said, Wexler (who recently retired, but I still talk to) and I have very different methods of communication. Wexler tends to have an admittedly quick temper, and though he has far more intelligence between the two of us, also tends to jump straight to insults rather than using his armada of factual statements. I don't have much of a temper (with a few exceptions, homophobes make me very angry very quickly), and enjoy being kind to those who are unkind to me, and simply point out factual errors. It shows that the liberal is the rational one, and it also makes them even angrier which can be quite entertaining. There is a lot of content on the site from the both of us, and it does differ quite a lot in style.

Thanks again for your readership, and I'd be happy to address any more questions or concerns.

Hey guys, newcomer to the site here. After looking through the lies and checking out some content, a question formed in my mind, and I'm going to stick my neck out and ask. Before I do, I'd just like to say I agree with a good 90% of what's on this site. (The other 10% being some of the comments from users, not certain lies or anything of that nature.)

After reading through some posts and such, I found myself looking into the way these facts are portrayed. During which, I saw some of the "u guise are just like Beck lulz" comments. Obviously, I don't think that's the case at all, but if I may say, just hear me out here for a second.

Beck portrays his "facts" (and I quote that word, because I honestly think he's moronic enough to believe absolutely anything he says) in a manner to induce fear and hatred into the minds and thoughts of his viewers.

The both of you (from what I gather, it's just Quinlan and Wexler? I'm probably incorrect) present actual facts to demean Beck, which I do think he deserves, but (and I hate using that word) seem to do so in a manner that incites a strong hatred for Beck himself. He brought it on himself and probably deserves it, but sometimes, I suppose mainly in some posts on these content articles, it seems somewhat... violent, for severe lack of a better word.

So I suppose that brings me to my actual question: What differences are there between your... presentation(?) and Beck's? Other than the fact that you're the ones telling the truth, I suppose. I do hope I don't sound like a complete dimwit, seeing as the "lies vs. facts" thing is obviously one of the major differences, but it's a bit hard for me to put it into coherent words, I guess. I'm young.

I already know the big differences between you and Beck; you use facts, are intelligent individuals, and pretty much always know what you're talking about. And I agree with almost, if not all of the content that you post on this site. I just hope my "presentation" question made sense. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

PS: Apologies for the excessive use of parenthesis.

I’m a bit confused when you say you verified facts. There are 2 problems here, and the primary one is not that Beck gets the facts wrong. What he does on a regular basis is come up with a stunning juxtaposition of two Becktoad factards and claim he is now onto a new revelatory conspiracy theory! So check the heirarchy of facts, from the great big ones down. The conclusions being drawn are inaccurate, and the logical leaps being taken to make those decisions are epic.

If Beck was right about the Exe branch taking over the Leg. branch, don’t you think someone else besides Beck would be talking about it? Like Michelle Bachmann and Sarah Palin? Like why wouldn’t they? Because it’s not really true. What’s happened is that the Legislative branch has been taken over by corporations and the Exec branch has become the focus of apparent power to the unwashed masses of Beckerheads who still haven’t figured out that if you buy single ply toilet paper and have to fold it in two, how is that a good deal? The Exec Branch is, at least for the time being, not plotting to invade any new countries or overthrow any former allies. In fact, it’s left with a lunchbucket full of shit sandwiches that BushInc stuck in the commissary on the way out. Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, al Qaeda, Libya, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, China, the Geneva Conventions and the Hague. So how is Obama making anyone irrelevant other than himself? He goes on TV and tries to reason with the GOPERS and they kick ‘em in the nutsak. Again, and again. I’d like another, sir. Twack. He goes on national TV and says he sternly believes that Afghanistan should be more cooperative about sharing intelligence about al-Qaeda. Karzai flips him off, both hands, with a stream of invective. Nope, not very effective there.

Obama can’t get gun control, a health care bill, immigration reform, an energy policy, high speed rail, or diddly squat from Congress. He can’t save SS, Medicare, the Wisconsin Unions, the EPA, the FCC, OSHA, or any more than a token number of small businesses in the US. So how is this “making Congress irrelevant”?

What’s “irrelevant” once again is Glenn Beck’s paranoid delusion, the delusion that Obama is somewhere between some rasta mofo smiling like Harry Bellafonte and Freddy Fucking Krueger. Beck needs to actually take his head out of his ass now and then and analyze what is really happening out there in the trenches. The Exec is not running the show. BIG BUSINESS is running it, which is evidenced by the fact that Obama can’t even rid his own staff of known criminals and insiders who are going to KILL him in the 2012 campaign.

The program on April 26, 2011 kept me spinning since there were so many facts to cross check, but they all were verified. It delved into the 35,000 reportedly dead since Calderon declared his war on the cartels, into the new government proposal to get a passport if you can't get your birth certificate (which is crazily complex) to charts about the monetary base. I can't get this information anywhere else in such a comprehensive format in so short a time. Beck's opinions on how the executive branch of the government is making the legislative branch irrelevant probably angers some, but he does present it as his opinion, but backs it up with facts.

In my experience watching him for month, almost every clip he shows is taken out of context. Yes, the people did in fact say the things in the clips. But not in a way that insinuated that they wanted to destroy America. That's pure Glenn.

The majority of facts on the Glenn Beck show are backed up by actual video or audio of the people in the Obama Administration or Soros' many organizations speaking about their plans for America. Most shows I see, he also invites people to do their own fact checking and research. Simple online searches on his information most always bring up left-wing sources that back up his facts.

I don't have a problem with free speech - as long as said free speech does not involve slander, lies, and encouragement of murder. Those things can actually be felonies. So good luck with the whole "boycotting law-abiding companies" thing.

Wow,
Congrats on attacking (and defeating) free speech.
I don't regularly watch Beck, but he does have some valid points, on many subjects. Funny how free speech is considered a "left-leaning" concept, but how it is trampled on by its members...
I will now boycott purchase of any products or services of the "boycott (free speech) companies".

Hi Independent,

Thanks for your comment. I'm not clear exactly about what your asking me (in the future, complete sentences with grammar/spelling corrections would help), but if it helps to answer your question, the purpose of my site is to inform people about Glenn Beck, the lies he tells, and the dangers inherent of the views of him and those like him. I could be considered a blogger I suppose, but I see myself more as a person that does the community a service by exposing the truth against conservative lies. I administrate my own site, keep static articles, and accept submissions from other people, so I wouldn't really consider this a blog.

Thanks,
Quinn
