Sponsors-need sponsors...
Color of Change.org has been promoting a highly successful campaign to convince advertisers to boycott the Glenn Beck program on the Fox News Channel.

I just got back from www.stopbeck.com and realized that they have taken over the task from another site I had listed previously.
Also… the Washinton Post has put the number of boycotting sponsors at 200! StopBeck has the list at 125, with an explanation of the discrepancy.
Glenn Beck has turned his back on the world of Reality; the real world has returned the favor.

Beck is an outrage, an assault on reason and the American way of life. He uses his bully pulpit on Fox “News” to demonize “progressives” by lumping us in with communists, terrorists, criminals, deadbeats, and other “undesirables”. (If this tactic reminds you of Josef Goebbels, I can understand why). He promotes hysterical conspiracy theories about the Obama Administration that are 100% devoid of salient facts. (In other words, he just makes it up). What corporation wants to be associated with a crackpot schmuck who can’t control his mouth?
Last update at the time of this posting was on 2/1, and 114 sponsors have dropped Glenn Beck. The page also lists the remaining sponsors, with contact information you can use to let them know your DISAPPROVAL OF THEIR SUPPORT OF GLENN BECK.

The list of sponsors is now up to 114! Beck’s program in the UK has run with no sponsors for the last 2 weeks! Way to go, keep making those calls and signing those petitions!

I found you from a comment on Story of Stuff blog. I would be happy to boycott any company or product that supports Beck. I don’t watch him, (what I hear occasionally is enough to make my stomach turn) so I have no idea where to begin with the boycotting.
Incidentally, the depiction of Beck as a Joker figure is so accurate!

Actually, John, my life is fine, in fact it’s better than fine.
However, I fear for your sanity if you believe that Glenn Beck is “right” about anything. In fact, he’s not. He doesn’t actually work with facts very often, and when he does have a factoid or two in one of his syllogisms, the logic is busted.
Since you can’t defend anything Glenn Beck is “right” about, I can’t show you where you’re wrong, but trust me, you are. And your pathetic attempts at personal attack posts will no longer be tolerated, although you are welcome to post here if you have something to say other than “um, you suck”. When you do that, see, it lowers the level of discussion to Glenn Beck’s level.

I’d appreciate you naming the advertisers, and doing so on many blogs and comments sites. I think getting the word out about who the advertisers are, through existing news forums, will help make a boycot more effective.
It’s fascinating that anyone in America would be ignorant enough to watch this guy. The country really needs to get busy with improving educational and critical thinking programs in the schools.
But I guess if peoples’ parents are related, they hardly stand a chance…

So, let me get understand you correctly…
Glenn Beck is a threat to the nation, but your support of a boycott against Beck, effectively attacking free speech is not?
And, it is proper for you to degrade and insult someone whom you disagree with, making personal insults that would make a civil person cringe… and yet you yourself threaten to block a reader who does the same to you, only in less than 50 words, and with far less venom than your typical fare?
Is your own inability to look at yourself critically, and recognize the hypocrisy, perhaps part of your issue with the terms “Fair” and “Balanced”?
You don’t gain legitimacy by mirroring the very traits you find detestable in others.
Just a thought.

I disagree with your right to fuck up my website with complete and utter bullshit. Yes, it is proper for me to degrade and insult people who write stuff like “Oh, you’re looking for groupies” or “You’ve made a cottage industry out of Glenn Beck”. You IDIOT.
My legitimacy comes from facts. Facts that I post, facts that I write. That’s the only place it comes from, for ANYONE. Opinions can be legitimate when they are supported by facts. What you posted to me was not fact based, it was a lame attempt to insult my website.

I stumbled upon this site from a google search. I’m laughing because obviously your pitiful attempt at harming Glenn Beck was just that…pitiful. He is more popular than ever. And he has no trouble finding sponsors because he has no trouble finding millions of people who agree with what he says. He not only has best selling books, sold out tours, and a popular radio show…but his TV show is number one in it’s time slot and growing every day. He is so popular because he tells the TRUTH. And YOU can’t handle the truth! Nice try though…I bet you feel silly now!

Beck has no sponsors in the UK and hasn’t for several months.
So you’re wrong on that point.
At my last check, 105 sponsors have dropped Beck stateside on Faux News Channel and Beck is doing some of his own commercials for gold. Rupert Murdoch is footing the bill for Glenn Beck’s show.
So you’re wrong on that point, too.
You may or may not think this website is pitiful, nikki, but anyone who listens to Beck and then asserts that he’s telling the truth is among the laughingstock group of the nation. Over half of Beck’s viewers are people who enjoy the clown make a train wreck of his reality. To believe Beck is to live in constant fear that somehow everybody is out to get you, you need to cower behind walls and guns and lots of ammo and gold. To believe Beck is to be so amazingly under-informed about history, social science, and even SPELLING that you see a commie conspiracy behind everything, even the GOP!
LOL I guess you missed the 16 pages of lies Beck told and I debunked HERE. I guess you think that OnStar is a plot to spy on you, AmeriCorps has become a secret police organization with a budget as big as the Pentagon, that Van Jones spent time in prison, that a call to volunteer is a call to communism. You must believe that Obama is a racist who wants reparations for slavery, that Obama wants to destroy America, and that it’s possible to be a communist, socialist, fascist, and Nazi all at the same time.
In other words, you’re a nutcase. Thanks for posting, keep up the good work. I wasn’t sure if you are aware that Glenn Beck has lost a million viewers in the last 9 months, but he has. That’s a fact you probably ought to have in your quiver, since it appears to be pretty much empty.
As far as hurting Beck… my intention is to debunk his lies, not to hurt Beck. I’ll admit that I haven’t been keeping up on it very well, but as I’ve said elsewhere, he lies faster than any person can type. My intention is to debunk those lies, and as Beck tells them he hurts himself. Every lie he tells seeps through eventually, even YOU will understand it, someday. So keep a link to this site handy, Nikki, because when you get your epiphany about Glenn Beck I’ll be looking forward to reading your post.
PS I just checked, nikki, and my first post on this site was September 22, 2009, which is less than 8 months ago. In that time frame, with a budget of about sixty dollars, I have managed to get my website on the first page of Google for the search phrase “glenn beck lies”. I have done next to nothing for SEO.
I guess I’d have to admit that’s more than “pitiful”, given the number of anti-Beck websites that have sprung up like mushrooms. (Another sign of Beck’s immense “popularity”. No wonder he needs bodyguards. Keep an eye peeled, Glenn, just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean they’re not out to get you!)

You were laughing about Beck’s sponsorship not being an issue.
Well, it’s getting serious, nikki dear. Goldline is among other metals dealers that are going to be up for review from the FTC and SEC (if your Google isn’t working for you, I’ll be happy to explain the significance of this.) Basically, Anthony Weiner (D, NY) held hearings and determined that anyone who tells you that you are investing in something ought to be legally obligated to tell you what it’s worth at the time you place your order. Further, there seems to be a conflict of interest problem when you are a right wingnut liar who tells your viewers (some of whom are apparently as gullible as you) that the US currency is going to fail so you should buy gold, then turn around and do your OWN gold ad.
Here’s a question for you, nikki. If owning gold is such a good deal, as your man Beck keeps telling you it is, why would anyone want to sell it? Wouldn’t they want to hang onto it?
LOL I kind of feel sorry for the quivering little mass of jello you must be at this horrible moment for Mr. Beck. If you turn up your radio and TV LOUDER, it will make what he says more true.
