New Pages – Mormon Heresy 101 & America, The Secular
Here at glennbeckreport.com, we strive to give you the best content detailing exactly why Glenn Beck and his crazy cronies are just so full of crap. And today, we present to you two new articles directly debunking two of Beck’s biggest sticking points. The first, Mormon Heresy 101, focuses on the Mormon cult and provides a handy chart for you to tell the difference between a Christian and a son of God conceived by intercourse. The second, America, The Secular, deals with the notion that America is a “Christian nation,” and of course wastes no time in providing the specifics on just how full of it Beck and his evangelical friends are.
Thanks for visiting, and we hope to bring you more quality articles as soon as possible.

I am a Mormon and I am totally against all that Glenn Beck stands for. I am angry with his lying and hyperbole. Still, I think your chart is very wrong.
1. People have a personal relationship to God and when they pray God listens and responds to requests. The only intermediary is Jesus Christ. 2. There is a pronouncement in the Doctrines and Covenants that explicitly states that all men including black men are equal and can and do hold the priesthood. 3. We believe in the Grace of God through Jesus Christ and his sacrificial atonement. This is not in conflict with other Christian Churches. The rest I would have to research, however, I have never heard of them. I do not believe that Glenn Beck is doing the right thing by causing divisions that are unfounded. I do not believe that we should be mixing religion with politics and as out founding fathers agreed: they were to remain separate. I do believe that if we are trying to debunk his rhetoric, we must be accurate. By being inaccurate about Mormon’s believe’s. it casts dispersions on the accurate statements.

Thank you for your post.
You are wrong on each of your contentions about the beliefs of the Mormon Cult, but I will address that in another post when I have more energy and time to deal with it.
Regarding mixing religion and politics… I couldn’t agree more. Religion and politics should be separate as stated in the First Amendment. Unfortunately for the Mormons, one of your own is running around holding rallies and programs where he contends that 1) Mormons are the same as Christians (which you are not) and 2) America needs to get down on our knees and build a government based on his phony, inaccurate, deceptive, and abuse of historical documents surrouding the writing of the Constitution.
Since one of the religions that Beck is pushing is Mormonism, you are fair game. Since Mormons are one of the most well-funded PACs in the country, you are fair game.
I intend to take advantage of that. I appreciate your posting about how you don’t agree with Glenn Beck and you’re a Mormon. That’s nice. I’ve had several people contact me with the same thoughts. But most of your tribe DO believe Beck, they believe Brigham Young’s version of the Old Testament, they believe it weekly drills where everybody practices going to their meeting place, they believe in being armed to the teeth like a military organization, they believe in each family squirreling away 1 years’ worth of food.
Do you see anything wrong with this picture? Glenn Beck is trying to bring down the government of the United States, hoping in the ensuing chaos, food shortages, and so on, the Mormons will somehow prevail and establish America as a Mormon nation.
Now that may sound crackpot to you, but if it does, you haven’t been doing your research carefully. I suggest you spend some time reading around the net. If you can’t find links let me know.
Thanks for the post.
