You’ve really got some gall. Coming on a site run by two ADMITTED socialist progressives, and saying that we know nothing about socialism or the progressive movement. Really, turn that around. I don’t know how rich you are, or how well educated you are, and I don’t presume to. But you can’t take all of your information from Glenn Beck, because all he’s going to do is lie to you and feed you BS opinions devoid of important news. George Soros? Haha. That’s a good one. I’m guessing that you think we socialists know just as much about him as we know about socialism. Which is… nothing? Right. And, as Wexler said… why don’t you show me one instance of violence from SEIU. If you’d like, I can show you a dozen instances that have come from the racist, fundamentalist right. And that would just be off the top of my head.

I actually do know quite a bit about socialism because I am a socialist, and the progressives are the people worldwide that have made societies actually function. What would you like to have facts about? The 40 hour work week? The Civil Rights movement? The end of the Viet Nam war by popular citizen action? Medical treatment for all citizens (unfortunately this is only in nations that are more socialist than we are). Social Security and Medicare? What facts do you want? Please let me know, I’ll be happy to give you facts on anything you want to set your mind at ease that I am definitely qualified to write this article and most of the rest of the website. Quinlan is new here, but he’s qualified, too.

I spend quite a bit of time reading, our town has an excellent college library that is free and open to anyone living here. What are you reading these days? The Overton Window? The 5000 Year Leap? LOL

I’m not currently getting paid by Media Matters but they are an excellent source of information. You ought to go there some evening with some people who don’t suffer from the same problem you do and see what’s actually going on in the media. Oh, your problem? It’s a failed grasp of the Big Picture.

How much would you like to bet about me and the George Soros thing? I’ll take that bet.
