You really, REALLY ought to read more information about Van Jones before you use phrases like “spot on” to describe Beck’s lies about him. To believe Beck’s lies about Van Jones, you would also have to believe that Beck snorts coke, screws anything that moves, drinks himself into oblivion, and is a general jerkoff. (Well, some things never change). However, Beck claims to have changed that part of his life.

Do you believe him? He lies about everything else, almost. He lied about Obama being a racist, a socialist, a Marxist, a communist, and turning AmeriCorps into his own Gestapo police force. Are you AWARE of that lie? Or do you just hear what you want to hear? I think the latter.

Regarding Van Jones. Van Jones repudiated his membership in STORM. It’s not even so much the membership in a group like that, which I know full well is waaaaay beyond your understanding. It’s his belief that the basic approach of STORM was on the wrong track. Do you GET that?

Glenn Beck says that Van Jones IS a communist. That’s a lie. You may be able to win an argument that Van Jones used to be a communist. But he’s not one now. The fact that he resigned from his job with the Green Jobs group has nothing to do with the truth of whether or not Van Jones IS a commie. He’s NOT a commie. He resigned because of the controversy over his past activities, not his present ones.

You must not have been paying attention to the last news cycle, Marcus. Nope, I think your intellectual curiosity (or lack thereof) refuses to allow you to understand in any way, shape, or form what the anatomy of a smear campaign is, how it functions, and that Glenn Beck is the current master of smears. Except for one thing… he lies and he gets caught every time because people like me won’t let him off that easy.
