Duck, Glenn, the free ticket to BS America is expired
The Glenn Beck Report is HERE.
The purpose of this website is to log, categorize, and debunk the countless lies, distortions, and smears of phony conservative Glenn Beck.
This is a task of enormous magnitude as he has both a radio and TV show and lies almost constantly. Therefore I am soliciting your help in this project; send me links to his videos, transcripts, images, anything that will help to get the best, most complete catalog of Glenn Beck bullshit available!
Your comments are solicited and welcome! Please note that all comments are moderated and in general all will be posted as long as they fall within loose standards of civility and a PG rating.
Glenn Beck likes to incorporate hate speech and “morning zoo” antics into his routine. I want that crap called out! I want it documented, debunked, exposed, and trashed. I want Glenn Beck discredited, de-funded, isolated, and exposed. Like a cancer cell on a microscope.
I want the Mormon Church to step forward and do the right thing: they need to issue a statement that Glenn Beck does not represent the views of the Mormon Church, its dogma, or its members. They need to specifically state that they do not condone death threats, mockery of other people, conspiracy theories that are bat-guano crazy, and stunts like pouring “gasoline” on a person and saying that this is what Obama is doing to the country.
You know the man is cracked. You KNOW he’s dangerous, as he calls on his gullible followers to commit acts of violence. In the words of Media Matters… don’t just sit there, do something.
Please help me out with any content you can.

Glad to see you are following up on this vitriol that is being spread from a declared “Christian” person. The LDS Church is associated by his ads that he ran claiming that his life has changed since he joined that Church. Just after that he started his attacks on President Obama. Most of his claims have been verified as untrue within days or hours. His followers are people that don’t think for themselves. They are looking for a target for their unhappiness with the condition of our country. Glenn Beck and his followers are one big distraction from the job that needs to be done. Their ravings and rantings are serious because of the reactive person in the crowd that will act irrationally after being caught up in the hatred.
We will be following your reports.

Thanks for the comment, the original post on your great website, too.
I spent a bit of time in northern Utah on project work back in the late 80s. It was beautiful. I sure got some folks’ back up when I lit up a cigarette. The liquor laws were so bizarre I ended up settling for a couple of beers in my hotel room.
However, when I wasn’t smoking/drinking, the people were very friendly and the scenery was spectacular. For a flatlander like me it wasn’t a bad choice for a business trip.
Back to Beck. I was looking for this link http://messengerandadvocate.wordpress.com/ when I found your website. In it you’ll find an article titled “Glenn Beck An Embarrassment To Mormons–Perpetuates Harmful, Untrue Stereotypes”. There are over 400 comments, you may find some of them enlightening. At least there’s a conversation going on, which gives me some hope that perhaps the Church will at least let everyone in their own congregation know that death threats, murder fantasies, character assassination, lies about public policy, and the right wing noise does not reflect the true meaning of being a Mormon…. even if Glenn Beck says it does.

Given Glenn Beck’s admiration and praise of former FBI Special Agent W. Cleon Skousen your readers might be interested in this report based upon Skousen’s first-time-released FBI files:

Thank you for the comment and links, ernie.
Most Americans (including me, until recently) are unaware of the Mormon Church’s history, its political activism, and its connections to right wing groups like the John Birch Society. To me it seems like an important topic, although there are some that classify any criticism of a religious organization with religious intolerance. The plain fact is that the Mormon Church is not just a place where people go to worship. They are attempting to shape US policy and public opinion. For example, the Church donated $180,000 to the effort to pass Prop 8 in California, the act that made gay marriage illegal.
Regarding the John Birch Society, I would bet that less than 5% of Americans know that it exists, let alone know what its political agenda is and how fanatic and paranoid they are. If anyone here would like to know more about the John Birch Society, they have a snazzy website at this link: http://www.jbs.org/
Thanks again for your comment. I will also put your links on a permanent page.
